Balance: 平衡
Balance is a interactive work by Haiyan Huang (Beijing, China) and Benjamin Bacon (New York, USA).
Balance is an interactive seesaw that consists of custom built electronics, projectors and computers. When the seesaw is moved vertically and horizontally the motion is captured and controls a panorama of 360 degree landscapes. The representation of images, both of nature and modern city-scapes, and the mechanical movement of the seesaw demonstrates the balance between nature and industrial development.
